The Kativik School Board, as part of its mission in Education, seeks to promote a healthy lifestyle for its students. Therefore, it agrees with the principle of promoting non smoking in its schools and premises, in the interests of maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for work and study, and because smoking endangers health and safety. Smoking is not permitted outside specific locations as provided by the law and set out in this policy.
