The Commissioners’ Council
The Commissioners’ Council of the Kativik School Board includes 14 persons elected by universal suffrage every 3 years and 1 non-elected member of the Executive, appointed by the Kativik Regional Government. The Commissioner from Kangiqsualujjuaq resigned. The election for a new Commissioner will take place on January 16, 2012.

The Executive Committee
The Executive Committee exercises in an exclusive way certain decision-making powers delegated by the Commissioners’ Council with respect to human resources, health, safety, material resources, financial and educational materials.
