Kindergarten to Secondary 5
Learning paths
Students at the Kativik School Board begin their education in Inuktitut, their mother tongue, and later choose either French or English as their language of instruction.
Individual Paths of Learning
Not all students learn in the same way, or at the same rate. Special programmes are created by schools to accomodate those students at the secondary level who require Individual Paths of Learning. Read about our projects by following the link.
This approach to education is based on research in language acquisition and appropriate learning methodologies. You can read more about Kativik School Board Initiated Research in the documents we offer for downloading.
