FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Under the authority of the Coordinator, the consultant sees to the development, implementation and evaluation of all training programs intended to meet the specific needs of the employment network throughout the territory of the Board. The consultant will deal specifically with manpower development programs sponsored by the Kativik Regional Government (KRG).

DUTIES :
Organizes the logistics for training sessions;
Administer budgets for training sessions;
Attends pedagogical meetings and employability program development sessions with various representatives of community and administrative organizations;
Frequent travels throughout Nunavik.

QUALIFICATIONS:
First level University Degree in a relevant specialization.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bilingualism (French / English). Knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset.
Communication and leadership skills.
Abilitly to write reports.
Team work skills.
Knowledge of MS Office suite.
Awareness of community employment needs.
Awareness of the various regional stakeholders.
Knowledge of the Adult Education and Vocational Training sector and Customized Training Services.

LOCATION: Administrative office presently located in Montreal.

STATUS: Supernumerary position

DURATION: April 2010 to February 2011

CLASSIFICATION / SALARY / BENEFITS:
Education Consultant / From $37,354 to $70,819 depending on qualifications and experience.
Salary & benefits as per the Non-Teaching Professional Collective Agreement of the Board.
