Focused on key areas of what teachers need to know and be able to do to support students&#8217; development of mathematical understanding (focus on mathematics content, students&#8217; reasoning, and pedagogy). Topics include the kinds of information needed, different techniques for collecting that information, and ways of interpreting it to make educational decisions.
