  • Complete accounting tasks such as calculate, prepare, and process invoices and receipts for various types of businesses, handle cash, produce the payroll, determine the cost of goods and services, produce individual income tax forms, and implement an accounting system<\/li>\n
  • Produce tables and graphs, format accounting-related correspondence, and apply information related to business legislation<\/li>\n
  • Communicate in English and French in an accounting context, both verbally and in writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Candidates must meet one of the following:<\/p> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_tta_accordion color=”green” active_section=”-1″ collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”Secondary School Diploma” tab_id=”1627605085331-a3a97459-f61316280032274531628005029869162804567560716280463278231633636998616″][vc_column_text]Persons holding a Secondary School Diploma or its recognized equivalent, for example, an Attestation of Equivalence of Secondary V studies, or a postsecondary diploma such as the Diploma of College Studies or a Bachelor\u2019s degree.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”16 years old with Secondary IV credits” tab_id=”1633640664905-d3195035-d9fb”][vc_column_text]Persons who are at least 16 years of age on September 30 of the school year in which their training is to begin and have earned the Secondary IV credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in the programs of study established by the Minister, or have been granted recognition of equivalent learning.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”18 years old with functional prerequisites” tab_id=”1633640663522-f629f71c-9963″][vc_column_text]Persons who are at least 18 years of age upon entry into the program and have the following functional prerequisites: the successful completion of the General Development Test, or recognition of equivalent learning.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Secondary III credits” tab_id=”1633640662605-789f8b03-411a”][vc_column_text]Persons who have obtained Secondary III credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in programs established by the Minister are required to pursue general education courses, concurrently with their vocational training, in order to obtain the Secondary IV credits they lack in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in programs established by the Minister.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_accordion][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
