The reference guide aims to demystify the student support services process and to familiarize school personnel with the steps involved in initiating the process.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/div>\n

By following the steps below, staff will be able to:<\/p>\n

  • Document the measures taken.<\/li>\n
  • Follow the student\u2019s progress throughout the support process.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure clean and effective communication between the different stakeholders, by promoting the adoption of a coherent and coordinated approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The Complementary and Compassionate Services team stresses the importance of collaboration between all players involved in student support services.     This is a detailed plan of specific measures to be taken to support a student with special needs, with the aim of fostering his or her development and success.
