Public Relations (PR):<\/strong>\u00a0What is your name? Where did you work, and for how long?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lizzie Quara Aullaluk (LA): My name is Lizzie Quara Aullaluk. I worked at Tukisiniarvik School for 30 years.<\/p>\n

PR:<\/strong>\u00a0What kept you working for KI?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

LA: It was fun to work with my co\u2011workers, and I loved the work and the kids.<\/p>\n

PR:\u00a0What was your proudest moment while working at KI?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

LA: My proudest moments were when I saw students graduate. It really made me see that we, as teachers, have helped, and seeing the students achieve their goals made it a very happy moment. Also, seeing the students attend school every day; the effort and dedication they put into staying in school made me proud<\/p>\n

PR:\u00a0Words or quote you live by?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

LA: Tomorrow is another day. \u1583\u1405\u154c\u1431\u1466\u14f4\u1546\u1557\u1585. Another day has bloomed. It has dawned again!<\/p>\n

PR:\u00a0What advice would you give your teenage self?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

LA: Show up on time. Work hard.<\/p>\n

PR:\u00a0Who\u2019s your role model or your inspiration?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

LA: My grandfather Paulusie Aupaluk. He was always proud of us, told us to take part in local activities. He was always happy for us.<\/p>\n

PR:\u00a0What are your future plans?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

LA: Just living day by day. No real plans.<\/p>\n

PR:\u00a0Most challenging?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

LA: The most challenging part of my job was when we had to work with a new principal.<\/p>\n

PR:\u00a0Anything else to share?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

LA: I would like to thank KI for all your support. For always being ready to help in any situation. For many fun years. Working with the school board was, for the most part, a lot of fun. When I\u00a0had to leave, it was hard to leave my co\u2011workers. The staff\u2014no matter who they were\u2014became family, not just co\u2011workers.<\/p>\n
