It’s definitely a challenge. […] but I believe in what we are doing here. I get feedback from people who visit our school. They like the atmosphere, tell me how we have such great students, great resources and, all in all, things are going well. That moves me.
We are looking for passionate and creative teachers for the upcoming school year at the primary and secondary levels in the French sectors.
SUBJECTS TAUGHT :
- General education
- Second languages and social sciences
- Science and mathematics
- Special education
QUALIFICATIONS :
- “Brevet d’enseignement”, teaching permit or provisional teaching permit valid in Quebec or equivalent in another Canadian province.
The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all of the afore-mentioned qualification requirements if it finds a suitable candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board.
REQUIREMENTS :
Fluency in the language of instruction (English or French depending on the sector).
CLASSIFICATION/ SALARY/ BENEFITS :
Salary & benefits as per the Teachers Collective Agreement of the Board: from $46,527 to $92,027 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
