Health measures that apply to students and staff in the education sector

November 8, 2021: Update on health measures in the education sector

As a follow-up to the health measures announced by the Quebec Minister of Education on August 11, 2021, the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS) has confirmed the measures that will apply to the Nunavik education sector.

Note that starting this week, face masks are mandatory in common areas, while moving about the school and on buses. Students Grade 1 and up are also required to wear a face mask at all times while in class.

At the secondary level, the vaccination passport is required to participate in some extracurricular physical activities or sports.
