FUNCTION & DUTIES:
The lnuktitut Curriculum Developer (I.C.D.) position directly reports to the Assistant Director of the lnuktitut Language Team within the Education Services Department. The lnuktitut Curriculum Developer position primarily works on curriculum development aligned to the Quebec Ministry of Education standards, implementation of new curriculum, revisions, updates and any other duties as assigned by the First Language Assistant Director for Kativik llisarniliniriq’s School Board.
DUTIES:
- To create, update, revise, edit and publish lnuktitut curriculum from Kindergarten to Secondary 5 both independently and collectively.
- To create, update, revise, edit and publish lnuktitut curriculum by subjects.
- To work closely with the lnuktitut Language Team Coordinator, other lnuktitut Curriculum Developers on the Team, and with the Curriculum Supporters as assigned by the Assistant Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid teaching diploma in Quebec.
The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all of the afore-mentioned qualifications if it finds a suitable candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement (JBNQA) and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board.

- Fluency in spoken and written Inuktitut
