Available tutoring programs

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq currently manages three tutoring programs for beneficiary and non‑beneficiary students of the youth sector (primary and secondary levels).

Tutoring for beneficiary
and non-beneficiary students in Nunavik

This program aims to assist beneficiary and non-beneficiary students in improving their academic results.

The goal is to increase the graduation rate in the Nunavik youth sector.

This program:

  • applies to all subjects taught in Nunavik’s primary and secondary schools;
  • cannot be used for homework assistance;
  • hires tutors who must be qualified and available locally.

Tutoring for beneficiary students
outside Nunavik

This program is for beneficiary students who are attending school outside Nunavik. It aims to assist them in adjusting to new academic requirements and to a different learning environment.

The goal is to support students during their transition to a new public school outside Nunavik. Beneficiary students attending a private school outside Nunavik are not eligible for this program.

Registration for this program must begin within the student’s first year of transition to a new school, for a maximum duration of three (3) years.
